I ALWAYS buy from Home Depot if the price is comparable! Half the name brand stuff on Amazon is fake! I don't think tools are necessarily counterfeited as often as blades, bits, batteries, etc. Like some people said the tools on Amazon are probably stolen.

It sells for 100 on Amazon because of theft. There are gangs that storm homedepots in democrat states and do mass theft and then fence their goods on Amazon. They do this because in places like Cali the cops don't do shit unless the theft is over ~900 dollars.

Hello electrical engineer here: in the most lamen terms I am going to explain weather this is counterfeit once for all. What people don't realize is that distributors make back alley deals. Same with factory personnel. They are genuine but those supply leaks are there. Someone or the distributor want to make a little extra money so they sell it on the grey market. Sometimes the factory does some back alley deals selling some access product in the back. Some may magically go missing weather they hit Thier quota or not. Maybe there's some factory workers doing it under their supervisors noses. This happens alot.

They are excellent copies and Asia is flooded with Chinese copies which are as good as the original at 1|2 price and sometimes one gets the feeling that the original manufacturer is supplying these knockoffs😢

A lot of them are just stolen and resold, so they sell them dirt cheap to get rid of them quick. Ebay and Amazon are the biggest places that all these shopping carts of stolen merch are sold
